Why the wait: until the licenses are issued, a job has to stay under $1,000 including labor and materials — it can’t be split into pieces to get there — and it can’t need a building permit or touch gas. In the City of Prescott a permit covers water heater replacement and any plumbing addition, move or removal; swapping a fixture doesn’t need one. If your job is on the wrong side of that line, you’ll hear it on the phone, not at the door.
Neil has worked on all of these. No proprietary parts and no lock-in: he fixes what you have or installs what you pick. Water-treatment systems and water-heater replacements are installed once CreekWell’s contractor licenses are issued; service on them under $1,000 can be booked now.

What does a plumbing call cost?
Drains are $179 flat, and the everyday repairs on this page each have a published flat price.
A running toilet is $250, a faucet repair $225, a leaking tub or shower $313. Anything not listed is quoted at a flat price before any work starts. There is no trip fee anywhere in Yavapai County and no hourly meter running while you decide. You get the number first, and it is the number you pay.
Are your quotes flat-rate or hourly?
Flat-rate for known jobs — you see the full price before Neil starts.
For diagnostic or exploratory work, Neil quotes a bounded time-and-materials range, with your approval before any extension. No surprise invoices.
What is handicap toilet height, and do you install tall toilets for seniors?
Handicap height — also called comfort height, chair height or ADA height — means a seat 17 to 19 inches off the floor, and yes, CreekWell installs them.
That range is set by the 2010 ADA Standards (section 604.4). A standard toilet sits around 15 inches, and those few inches are the difference between an easy stand and a hard one for many seniors, tall folks and anyone with knee or hip trouble. CreekWell installs handicap-height Kohler Highline toilets for a flat $500 — your choice of the chair-height model (about 17½ inches with seat, ADA height) or Kohler’s tallest 19-inch bowl for maximum sit-to-stand help — complete with soft-close seat, new wax ring, new supply line and haul-away of the old toilet.

Yes. Neil installs and services every major brand.
Kohler, Moen, Delta, Toto, Rheem, Navien, Rinnai, Bradford White, and many more. If you bought the fixture, we’ll install it — and a heater you bought, once the contractor licenses are issued. If yours needs repair, Neil has likely worked on it.
Tank vs. tankless water heater — which is better for my home?
It depends on how much hot water the house uses, and Neil walks you through it and picks the right fit.
Tankless (Navien, Rinnai, Noritz, Takagi, Rheem) delivers endless hot water and has a life expectancy of 20 years by ENERGY STAR’s count; ENERGY STAR also estimates a certified gas tankless unit saves a family of four about $95 a year on gas, or $1,800 over its lifetime. It costs more upfront and usually needs a larger gas line. Tank heaters (A.O. Smith, Bradford White, Rheem) are cheaper, simpler, and fine for many homes. Installed prices for both are on the water heater page, and the tankless page goes deeper.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes — two years on the workmanship, plus the maker’s or the supplier’s warranty on the parts.
The two-year workmanship warranty is written out in full on the About page. Parts carry the maker’s or the supplier’s warranty, 1–12 years depending on the product and longer on some — 15 years on a Navien or Rinnai heat exchanger, and on Kohler china for as long as the original buyer owns the home (Kohler’s terms). Neil registers the warranty for you whenever he can.
Will you pull permits?
Not yet — work that needs a permit waits for the Arizona contractor licenses.
Once they issue, yes, whenever a permit is required. Permits protect you at resale and make sure the work is inspected; the paperwork is handled for you, and Neil meets the inspector on site.
Do you do emergency plumbing calls?
Yes — for water emergencies.
Urgent problems like burst pipes and failed water heaters get a flat $250 Priority Service call, with no Sunday or holiday upcharge when Neil is available — see the Priority Service page, or call 928-228-5770. If water is running now, the leak page has the steps to stop it.
Can you replace my water heater?
Not until the contractor licenses are issued.
Replacement needs a permit in the City of Prescott, which puts it outside Arizona’s small-jobs rule for work without a contractor license (the “handyman exemption”).
Service and repair are fine — flush, anode rod, thermostats, valves, tankless descaling. The replacement prices, $1,490 to $2,190 for a tank and $2,800 to $3,500 for tankless, are on the water heater page so you can plan. Until then a full replacement is a licensed contractor’s job, and we will tell you that up front.
Do you work on gas appliances?
Not yet — no gas work at all, at any price, until the licenses are issued.
By CreekWell’s own rule, no natural gas or propane work at any price before the licenses: gas work almost always needs a permit. That includes gas water heaters where the gas connection is part of the job.
Are you licensed and insured?
Not a licensed contractor, and there is no contractor bond or insurance behind the work today.
