Chemical drain openers are the most common way a $179 job turns into a bigger one. They generate heat, which deforms older pipe and can soften joints. They rarely clear a real blockage — they open a channel through it, which closes again within the week.
And when they do not work, that caustic liquid is sitting in the trap waiting for whoever opens it. If you have already used some, just tell Neil. Nobody is going to be annoyed; he just needs to know before he takes the trap off.
A drain that clogs once is a clog. The same drain backing up two or three times a year is telling you something structural — and until that is identified, cabling it again is treating the symptom, and you will keep paying for the same visit.
Infiltrating older sewer joints in search of water. Common in established Prescott neighborhoods with mature trees and clay or cast iron laterals. They come back on a schedule.
A section that has settled and now holds water, so solids drop out there every time. Cabling clears it briefly; the dip stays.

A drain that clogs repeatedly is telling you the clog is a symptom, not the problem.
Common underlying causes: grease coating the pipe walls, tree roots getting into an older sewer line through the joints, a section of line that has bellied or sagged so water no longer carries solids through, scale narrowing older galvanized drains, or a venting problem preventing proper flow. Cabling the same line again and again without finding the cause is how homeowners end up paying for the same repair four times. A camera inspection answers it.

Anyone recommending a sewer line replacement without showing you camera footage deserves your skepticism. If CreekWell adds a camera, that footage-first rule is how every inspection will run.
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the inside walls of a pipe, rather than punching a hole through a blockage the way a cable does.
It is the right tool for grease buildup, scale, and root fragments that make clogs return. It depends on what is in the line, and that is the point of looking first.
A cable cuts through roots and solid obstructions. A jetter scours grease and sludge off the pipe wall, which a cable just bores a hole through. Kitchen lines usually want the jetter; root intrusions usually want the cable. For now CreekWell clears branch drains with a cable; CreekWell does not offer jetting yet.

A sewer backup is a health issue, not a scheduling preference: no overtime charge, no emergency surcharge. Angi puts emergency plumbing at 1.5 to 3 times the normal hourly rate. If the backup is in the main line, CreekWell cannot clear it, and you will hear that on the phone.
