Photos help more than you would think
If you can text a photo of the problem, do. A picture of the under-sink area, the water heater label, the stain on the fixture or the puddle tells us in five seconds what five minutes of description usually cannot.
Useful things to send: the make and model plate on a water heater or treatment system, the whole area rather than a close-up, and the shutoff valve if you can find it.
What to expect
- A person answers. Or calls back the same day, usually within a couple of hours during working hours.
- New work is not being booked for a few weeks. Leave your name on the list and you are booked in the order it comes in. Jobs already scheduled are not affected.
- You get a flat price before any work starts. Free estimates and diagnostics, no trip fee in Yavapai County.
- If it is not a job we can legally take, you will hear that on the phone. Before the drive out, not after.
- A free water field check — hardness, chlorine and TDS — comes with any estimate.

Can you come out right now?

What are your hours?
Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
Outside those hours leave a message or send a text and it gets picked up in the morning.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates and diagnostics are free, and so is the water field check that comes with them.
There is also no trip fee anywhere in Yavapai County.
How far do you travel?
Yavapai County, all of it, at no extra charge.
Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Paulden, Dewey-Humboldt, Mayer, Williamson Valley, Skull Valley, Kirkland, Sedona, Cottonwood, Cornville, Clarkdale, Jerome, Camp Verde, Rimrock and Lake Montezuma. Rural roads and private wells are normal here, not an exception.
Not a licensed contractor
Work is performed under the Arizona handyman exemption, A.R.S. § 32-1121(A)(14): any single project is limited to less than $1,000 including labor and materials, and excludes work requiring a building permit and all natural gas and propane work. Neil Staiger has 32 years of Arizona plumbing experience and holds current manufacturer certifications from Moen, Kohler, Navien, Rinnai and Charger Water Treatment Products. More about that.
